Our restaurant was established in 1947. In early post-war Japan, food was scarce and meat and rice were strictly rationed, but Offal (pork entrails) were not rationed. The original owner sold this and alcoholic drinks together and enjoyed great success. From this success, he also started a second Yakitori establishment in Omoide Yokocho. There are now many Yakitori restaurants in "Omoide-Yokocho".
Our restaurant was the first Yakitori restaurant in "Omoide-Yokocho".Today, we serve not only offal, but also chicken and tuna skewers. You'll enjoy our yakitori carefully grilled over hot coals by our staff. We also serve over 50 other delicious Japanese dishes. Our seating arrangements are still the same style as they were in early post war Japan. While it may seem a bit cramped, we believe this is part of the experience. Our small restaurant has been featured in many newspapers, magazines, and on television. Many celebrities visit our restaurant incognito as well.
